Top 10 Funny Sniglets – Words Not In The Dictionary!

In the middle of the 1980′s the massively popular American comedian Rich Hall coined the term Sniglet and began reading them on his TV comedy series called Not Necessarily the News.

For many years now Sniglets have been very popular, with 2 successful books being published by Rich Hall selling millions of copies. They are now often created by general members of the public, many of which are very funny and can get published in national newspapers and all over the place.

Contribute Your Own Creations
If you think of your very own sniglets there is a few places to submit them. You can currently submit some to sites such as alphadictionary.com, or alternatively most humor blogs and funny sites will happily publish your funnies for you. If you don’t want to do that then you could also publish them on your social media profiles or on forums where you chat.

Success Of The Sniglet
Although very popular they are certainly under rated, with many people probably preferring a funny limerick or trying a cheeky tongue twister. Some people have never even heard of a Sniglet, so go forward, create your own and spread the word :)
