What is remote viewing? It’s a psychic ability and it gives you the means to see people, places and objects that are not within your immediate realm, where they can be accessed with your five senses. That means that you can’t hear, see, etc., by the way you do normally, but you can use your own psychic ability to access these things in your mind’s eye without having to be there in person.
However, this isn’t the same thing as an out of body experience. An out of body experience is also called astral travel, and it’s where you’re traveling in spirit form, out of your body, to actually view an event or place with you ‘there.’ To view remotely you need to have done some kind of remote viewing training.
Basically, remote viewing is psychic dowsing, and you’re using psychic power to seek out whatever you want to find. If you’ve undergone remote viewing training, you are using a type of ESP to find what you want to find.
All of us have at least some latent psychic ability that has never been fully developed for most of us when we were young. Because we only use 10% of our brains’ power, another 90% is dormant, left untrained and untapped, and we are not quite sure what we should do with it.
Imagine, though, if you could just ‘reach out’ and know that your children were fine while they were away from you. Wouldn’t that give you incredible piece of mind and security that would come with knowing you could use remote viewing whenever you needed to for your benefit? Simply, this would be — and is — priceless.
Why is remote viewing different from other psychic abilities? It can be learned by anyone who wants to develop the ability to remote viewing. Research shows there are many non-psychic individuals who have been taught to fall into a sufficient trance-like state and were able, with a high level of accuracy, to remote viewing.

2. As you relax, breath deeply through your nose. By breathing this way you may find control easier if you press your tongue to the roof of your mouth. This will also control the tendency to yawn when you are in this phase.

3. Because the ability to believe in what you’re doing is central to your success rate with remote viewing, remind yourself that you are very capable of seeing places, people are events that aren’t directly in front of you as you go deeper into your relaxed state.
4. One of the first things you can do with your remote training skills is to choose a simple target that will let you actually show your critical mind that you can indeed be successful at remote viewing. One simple way to start is to just view yourself from a place in front of you, as though you’re looking back behind you at a relaxed body, as though you’re looking through a mirror. It can be somewhat difficult to allow yourself to see yourself in this way, as others see you, but a little patience will help you see success. When you can see yourself as others see you, this will give you a wonderful surprise.
5. Once you’ve got the mental control that comes from being able to view yourself remotely, you can challenge yourself little bit and cast your remote viewing eye a little wider. One of the ways to do this is to pick a location you know very well, such as your parents’ home or a friend’s home, and focus. Cast your “eyes” about and notice small things that may be out of place like books on a table, or dishes in the sink, and make note of them. As soon as you can, call the person who lives there and ask if what you saw was real. This will reinforce that what you’ve seen is in fact accurate. This is important, because it’ll show you that you really are capable of achieving this particular skill.
You may find that it is both quicker and easier to fall into a relaxed state once you have been spending time practicing your remote viewing training techniques. This is a similar state of relaxation to the trance-like state of relaxation reached under hypnosis. While still conscious of what is going on, the body relaxes enough to access the subconscious mind.
As you continue to practice, you’ll find that it’s much easier and faster to get yourself into a relaxed state than it has been previously. In fact, this relaxed state is similar to the trancelike relaxations people achieve when they’re under hypnosis. They’re still fully awake, but their body is fully relaxed, so that they can access their subconscious minds directly.
