Play Poker Online & Beat The Smoking Ban

It’s well know that America has a dislike of smokers and their smoke. There has recently been an announcement telling of a second Vegas strip casino being sued for second hand smoke. As a direct result, casinos now have to follow US law and as from the 1st of October do not allow smoking.

Many gamblers find the whole idea of placing their bets and not being able to have a smoke at the same time absolutely horrific! It’s not really surprising when you think about how much money people spend and how stretched their nerves can get.

It is natural that a smoker would want to fall back on their trusty nicotine fix while the wheels spin or the cards are dealt! This new ban has put a stop to this but smokers are fighting back and with surprising support from certain casinos.

The Crow Indian Reservation has found a unique way around this problem. As Indian reservations are considered sovereign governments and separate from US state laws, they do not need to comply with this new smoking ban. This could be a huge bonus to reservation casinos all over the USA. With the current economic climate as it is, casinos on the main strips appear to be struggling and this may have a knock on effect as the gambler and habitual smoker cannot seem to do one without the other.

A casino guest has said “You’d go mad playing these machines if you couldn’t have a cigarette, if I’m playing, I’m smoking. It’s easier on the nerves.”

It is highly unlikely that the tribal governments on these reservations will opt to follow the US legislation on this one; there is just too much opportunity to increase their casino popularity by allowing smoking!

Of course, there is always a way around a ban. Why not sign in for a game in the comfort of your own home. There isn’t a chance that any rules and regulations will interfere with your game. There are plenty of rakeback deals currently available, including Party Poker Rakeback and PKR Poker Rakeback. The list is endless, and if you fancy having a smoke and a beer, then go right on ahead!
