In Farmville there are two main classifications of animals: Livestock (which you can buy at the Market for coins or Farmville cash) and Lost Animals (which will show up on your farm from time to time). The advantage of animal crops is that they do not rot like plant ones. You can be logged off as long as you like and when you come back, the animals will be waiting to be harvested. They are fairly effortless to manage. it is a unproblematic method of making money.
Livestock
At the moment the livestock which you can buy at the Market are somewhat limited. Pigs, white sheep and dairy cows are the current animal choices available at the Market. New animals appear for a limited time during special events and holidays. Green cows titled BOV1NE-09 which is currently calledAlien Cow showed in the Market for 2400 coins during the “Alien Invasion”. They give a crop named “milktonium” which sells for 18 coins. American Thanksgiving brought the “Baby Turkey”–when harvested for the initial time, it will transform into a grown-up, adult Turkey. The grown Turkey produces feathers which can be harvested once every 2 days can be put up for sale at 80 coins a harvest. Your friends can give you other exotic livestock as free gifts plus the regulars are offered there too.
You will notice that the animals do not have similar harvest times. Several animals “ripen” and can be harvested everyday whilst others call for as many as four days.
Lost Animals
Status updates of your friends might display that they have came across a lost animal on Farmville . These lost animals will occasionally show up on your farm and request your help. The release of Wild Turkey is an example. To commemorate American Thanksgiving, the creators of Farmville introduced it as a new “lost animal”.
The following caption will be shown upon the arrival of the Wild Turkey on your farm:
(Your name) discovered this frightened bird in Farmville. This time of year is tough for her and her kind. Hopefully she can find comfort and safety on a friendly farm. ..
The other “lost animals” in Farmville are:
*Ugly Duckling (transforms into a swan)
*Brown Cow (gives chocolate milk)
*Pink Cow (gives strawberry milk )
*Black Cat (gives yarn)
*Turtle (makes eggs)
*Black Sheep (gives chocolate wool)
*Regular cows also wander but they are obtainable through the Market and as free gifts
You are not allowed to adopt the lost animals. You can post a status update on your Facebook that you have found a lost animal. If you have more than one Facebook account, this is the right moment to use it!
Log out from your account and then put your lost animal up for adoption. Log in on your other account and quickly get the animal or your friends may adopt it before you do! Frequently read your friends’ status updates so that you can adopt their lost animal.
Think about buying a Dairy Barn or a Chicken Coop if you’re obtaining a large number of cows and/or chickens.
Each building accommodates 20 cows or chickens and offers a suitable way to store them, and harvesting them all at once.
